Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Have A Minimum Booking Amount?

My minimum booking is bride + 2. For more information on my bridal packages, please see my Bridal Packages page.

How Long Does It Take For My Hair And/Or Makeup To Be Done?

I like to allow at least 1 hour 15 minutes for my brides’ hair or makeup and up to 1 hour for any other adult members of the bridal party. I like to have everyone ready 1 hour before your ceremony time, so that there’s no rush and you have time for photos, a glass of champagne, gifting and touch ups before you step down the aisle.

Do I Have A To Pay A Deposit/Booking Fee?

Yes, I require a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount to secure your date. Once I have received this and your signed contract, the date is yours and your booking will be formally confirmed.

How Far Do You Travel?

All of my packages have a travel inclusion and beyond this, travel is charged at 50p per mile. I am based in West Sussex but also cover Hampshire and Surrey. Travel further than 50 miles from my home address will incur overnight stay charges and these will be added to your total booking amount.

Do I Have To Have A Trial?

All my bridal packages include the price of a trial. This is so important for us both to feel clear about what works for you and what doesn’t, so that you know you like what you think you like and so that I can successfully create the bridal look of your dreams. Sometimes brides have an idea of what they want but when it’s trialled, it isn’t quite what they imagined it to be, so then we tweak the plan to create something better. This is common and absolutely fine, it’s what bridal previews are for!

How Early Do I Need To Book You?

My brides normally book me 12 months to 2 years in advance! Once you know your venue(s) and date, you’re able to book your wedding suppliers too, like hair and makeup. I recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

When Should I Have A Trial?

I will schedule your bridal preview with you 2-3 months before your wedding day. By then, you will probably have organised your dress, flowers, know your colours and have a more clear idea of the bridal look you’d like, so I can create a look that ties in with all of this.

My full terms and conditions are sent out to you in a contract at the beginning of the booking process. This must be signed and returned along with your 30% deposit payment to secure the booking and your wedding date.
